How the Atera integration works

In the Lavawall® console you copy an install script for Windows, macOS, or Linux, then add it to Atera's Scripts Repository and run it against your devices. The script installs the Lavawall® agent, which can run alongside your Atera agent while you move over, without interfering with it. From there, Lavawall® patches, assesses configuration, hunts for threats, and collects compliance evidence on its own schedule.

What data flows

Once the agent is installed through Atera, Lavawall® collects and correlates:

None of this depends on Atera's data model. Lavawall® reads directly from the endpoint and the cloud tenants, so your coverage does not stop at what Atera happens to inventory.

How to deploy Lavawall through Atera

In the Lavawall® console, click Computers.
Click Download/Add.
Select the company you want to add from the Companies drop-down.
Click the script (shown in red) for Windows, macOS, or Linux, and copy it.
In Atera, select the company, then go to Tasks > Scripts Repository.
Click Add script and give it a clear name (for example, Lavawall Install Windows Company).
Set the platform: Windows with PowerShell, or macOS with bash.
Paste the script into the Script field and save.
Run the saved script against the target devices.

Repeat for each operating system and each company you want to onboard. A new endpoint inherits the standard profile as soon as it reports in.
