Why AI agents are different
A chat website only sees what someone pastes into it. An AI agent installed on a computer can open files, run commands and call other tools through connectors such as MCP servers, often with the permissions of the person who installed it. Insurers, auditors and your own AI use policy now ask the same question: which AI tools are on which computers, and what can they reach?

Which AI agents does Lavawall find?
Lavawall finds command-line AI assistants, AI code editors, desktop AI apps, editor extensions and local AI model apps on managed Windows computers. The list of recognised tools grows over time, so it should not be treated as complete.
Does Lavawall read AI prompts or conversations?
No. Lavawall agentic AI discovery collects names, folder locations, counts and times only. Conversations, prompts, file contents, passwords and keys are never read, and nothing on the computer is changed.
Can Lavawall block an AI agent?
No. Lavawall agentic AI discovery shows what is installed and which set-ups need a second look, so you can talk with the person and tighten the tool's settings. It does not block or remove tools.
Does Lavawall agentic AI discovery work on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. It covers managed Windows computers. AI services used in a web browser are found by Lavawall SaaS Discovery instead.
